Level 2: Simple and Practical

Here we tape seams and corners, add a light coat of mud over the tape and screws, and leave it unsanded. This level is perfect for walls that will be covered with tile, paneling, or cabinets—for example, behind kitchen cabinetry in Chesterfield Township. It’s efficient and keeps costs down.

Level 3: Good for Textured Finishes

Level 4: The Standard for Paint
