How do I know whether HomeWorks is the right contractor for me?
We encourage you to ask about our process and speak with past clients. At the showroom, ask our team about references and what it was like for those homeowners to work with us. Our book, The Smart Way to Remodel, also explains the questions to ask when choosing a contractor.

Do you offer a free estimate?
We offer a free quote. We take time to understand your project, plan the design, and choose materials before preparing a detailed proposal. A rough estimate is a preliminary guess; our quote is based on the selections and scope we review together.

Where do I buy the materials for my project?
HomeWorks helps you select and supplies the materials we install. At the design meeting, we can work through tile, fixtures, cabinetry, flooring, counters, paint colors, and lighting choices in one place.

Can you work with existing materials in my home?
Bring examples or samples of any existing materials you want us to consider. We can discuss how they fit the design during your planning meeting.

Who do I call if a problem develops?
During construction, talk with a HomeWorks team member on site or contact the operations manager introduced at your preconstruction meeting. After completion, call the showroom at 888-324-0660.

Who installs my kitchen appliances?
If the appliances have been delivered to the kitchen area, our team can discuss installing them as part of the project. Please unpack and inspect the appliances before installation. Confirm the scope with us when we prepare your quote.

Can I buy materials elsewhere and have HomeWorks install them?
Our policy is to install only materials supplied by HomeWorks so we can inspect products for defects and manage their quality before delivery. Ask us about any special materials during the design meeting.

What types of projects do you specialize in?
Most of our work is kitchen and bathroom remodeling. We also discuss projects such as laundry rooms, basement bars, foyers, and flooring.

Can HomeWorks create a curbless shower?
Yes. We have converted showers to curbless designs. This is a more involved project because the subfloor and the rest of the bathroom layout may need to change. We can evaluate your home during the design process.

Does HomeWorks offer financing?
Ask our team about current financing availability and terms when discussing your project; specific programs and repayment periods may change.

Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Ask our team for current license and insurance documentation when reviewing your proposal.

Do you provide a warranty?
HomeWorks offers a 10-year workmanship warranty. Ask us for the written terms and coverage details with your proposal.
